Featured Project : Star City – Digital Surround Theatre

The Challenge

Star City — a long-established amusement park in Pasay City — introduced the Digital Surround Theatre, an attraction designed to captivate guests with large-format visuals and surround viewing angles. To deliver this level of immersion, the venue required reliable projection integration that can withstand daily theme-park operations.

The projectors were already provided by the main consortium, but Star City needed a trusted partner to ensure:

  • Secure mounting and precise alignment of 7 Epson projectors
  • Professional-grade wiring and conduit infrastructure
  • Stable and long-distance signal distribution
  • Proper commissioning to deliver synchronized visual playback

#ThrowbackTuesday: Buddha-Bar Manila

When Buddha-Bar Manila set out to redefine Manila’s nightlife and dining experience in 2012, one thing was clear: the audio had to match the bar’s luxury, sophistication, and multi-level design. Guests should feel enveloped in sound — not overwhelmed by it.

The Challenge

The venue spanned multiple floors, including dining areas, lounges, VIP rooms, a DJ booth, and an outdoor deck. Each zone required consistent, premium sound while maintaining a balance between energy and intimacy. The goal was not just volume — it was clarity, warmth, and immersion in every corner of the bar.

AVLS designed and installed a full Meyer Sound + Crestron system, selecting equipment carefully to match each zone’s needs:
